Order, Payment & Terms and Conditions

Welcome to TheSignology. These Term and Condition govern all orders, services, and transactions conducted through TheSignology and its affiliated platforms. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms outlined below. Please review them carefully before proceeding.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting, browsing, or purchasing from TheSignology, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all current and future services provided by TheSignology, whether listed on our website or offered through affiliated partners.


2. Placing an Order

Once an order is submitted, it is entered into our production system and payment is processed for printing costs, setup fees, design services, rush orders, and any other agreed-upon charges. If a shipping estimate has been provided, shipping and handling fees may also be charged at this stage.

Production will not begin until payment is received unless prior written arrangements have been approved.


3. Artwork Proof & Approval

After payment confirmation, your project is reviewed by our Graphic Design Team.

  • If design services are requested, a digital proof will be provided for review.
  • If print-ready files are supplied, our team will inspect them for print compatibility.

You are required to review, approve, and confirm the proof before production begins. Standard proofs are delivered within 1 business day, with rush options available at an additional cost.


4. Production & Art Approval

Once artwork is approved, your order moves into production. Standard production timelines apply unless expedited service is requested. Customers with specific deadlines should notify their Dedicated Account Manager immediately to confirm feasibility.


5. Two-Part Billing Policy

TheSignology may process payments in two stages:

First Charge:

  • Printing costs
  • Setup fees
  • Design or rush charges
  • Estimated shipping and handling

Second Charge (Post-Shipment):

  • Approved additional charges (overages, extra design time, rush services)
  • Final shipping and handling adjustments

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed accordingly. Detailed invoices are emailed after each transaction.


6. Order Modifications

Changes to quantities, materials, shipping methods, or delivery locations after order placement may impact pricing. All modifications require customer approval before proceeding.


7. Order Cancellations

  • Orders cancelled after proof approval but before production incur a $25 cancellation fee.
  • Orders already in production cannot be cancelled or refunded.

We will attempt to minimize costs where possible and keep customers informed of any charges incurred.


8. Overages & Shortages

Due to industry manufacturing standards, orders may vary by up to ±10% of the requested quantity. Billing will reflect the actual shipped quantity.

Exact quantity orders are available upon prior request and may include an additional fee.


9. Minimum Order Requirements

Minimum order quantities vary by product. Some items may allow less-than-minimum orders with an added fee. Contact your Dedicated Account Manager for assistance.


10. Shipping & Handling

Customers are responsible for all shipping and handling charges. Shipping estimates are provided prior to order confirmation; final charges may vary due to carrier surcharges and handling fees.

TheSignology reserves the right to charge up to 10% above estimated shipping costs due to carrier adjustments.


11. International Shipping Terms

International orders require special handling:

  • All international orders must be prepaid
  • Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are the responsibility of the recipient
  • Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed

Ownership and risk transfer to the purchaser once the order is shipped.


12. Shipping Delays

TheSignology is not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, carrier disruptions, customs inspections, or labor strikes.


13. Credit Policy

Credit terms may be extended to qualified organizations:

Class A Customers:

  • Fortune 500 companies
  • Universities
  • Government agencies
  • Large organizations (subject to approval)

Class B Customers:

  • Customers with at least 3 prepaid orders and a successful credit review

TheSignology reserves the right to suspend or revoke credit privileges at any time.


14. Payment Terms

Invoices are due within agreed credit terms. Accounts overdue by 30 days may incur a $30 late fee. Collection actions will be governed by the laws of Texas, with venue in Travis County.

  • Wire transfer (international orders only)

Purchase Orders and credit lines are available for approved customers.


16. Returns & Refund Policy

Returns require prior authorization. Custom printed items are non-refundable unless defective or misprinted.

  • Refunds are issued after inspection
  • Restocking fees may apply
  • Claims must be reported within 30 days of delivery

Shipping damage claims may require photo documentation.


17. Limitation of Liability

TheSignology is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from the use of our services or website.


18. Sales Tax

Applicable sales tax is collected in accordance with state and local laws. Tax-exempt customers must provide valid resale certificates.


19. Arbitration & Governing Law

All disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Travis County, Texas, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Jury trials and class actions are waived.


20. Privacy Policy

TheSignology respects your privacy and does not sell or share customer information, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


21. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images, logos, and software, is the exclusive property of TheSignology and protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.


22. Trademarks

All trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed on this site are owned by TheSignology and may not be used without written permission.


23. Account Responsibility

Customers are responsible for maintaining account security. TheSignology reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion.


24. Website Security Disclaimer

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no online system is completely secure. TheSignology is not liable for unauthorized access beyond reasonable control.


25. Product Descriptions & Pricing Accuracy

We strive for accuracy, but errors may occur. TheSignology reserves the right to correct pricing or product details and recommends ordering samples prior to bulk purchases.
